Cab Meter

Turn your phone into a simple-to-use cab meter. After starting a trip, the app reads your moving speed and automatically switches between distance and time based fares. The meter charges:

- Start Fare: $1.00

- Extras: $0.25

- Distance Fare: $.10 every 1/10  a mile

- Time Fare: $0.10 every 10 seconds when under 5mph

Using the meter is simple:

1. Tap Extras to add extras to your trip. Note: Extras can only be added when the meter is stopped or paused.

2. To start a new trip, tap Start.

3. To stop or pause a trip, tap Stop.

4. Tap Reset to reset the meter. Note: The meter can only be reset when the meter is stopped or paused.

There are two buttons that aren't being used yet. These are put to the side for future meter functions.
